Consemble: Mixer
A Consemble is an indeterminate, open-ended composition built from the sounds contributed by a collection of people and played via the Parallel Music system.

In these Parallel Music pieces sounds are chosen at random, from a Pool of sixty, for a duration chosen by the audience; the volume of each sound and its stereo position are also determined by random processes.
Every playing is unique.

Each player also has a Mix Area where you can further manipulate the sounds.

Anyone may contribute to Consemble - amateurs, professional composers, sound artists, non-musicians etc. - there is no age limit and every contributor is credited.

Consemble is in the spirit of Mail Art, Cornelius Cardew's 'Scratch Orchestra' and the 'cut-up technique' of William Burroughs et al.
